I wanted to make movies ever since I can remember, my parents gave me my first video camera for my 11th birthday and since then my passion for making films has grown stronger every day.

For me, one of the most intriguing aspects of filmmaking  was the question of how a single frame could look so beautiful, which led me to dip my toes into still photography, a decision that would shape my career forever.

When I was in high school I had a kind of dual personality, for one part my passion for storytelling led me to make short films all the time with my friends (who usually took the roles of both cast and crew) and on the other hand I was taking pictures of everything that crossed my path.

I went to film school in Mexico City for a program that lasted four and a half years. during my time as a college student I learned how painful and yet incredibly rewarding could be working with like-minded people, this was one of the best experiences of my life.

being in film school gave me and my classmates the opportunity to work in all of the departments required to make a film, so I had a small run doing animation, vfx, editing and post production, but my ultimate goal has always been working in the animation industry.

On the stills side, I have been fortunate enough to work in projects that I immensely enjoyed from advertising to a career in food photography.

Currently, I work as a prop maker in beautiful British Columbia.

I was born in Mexico where I lived for the most part of my life. currently I am based in Vancouver BC with my wife, Laura and Sandy, our golden retriever.
